We ask all the children to wear the correct school uniform every day. This means they are smart and appropriately dressed for learning. All uniform must be clearly named.

  • Check green school dress
  • Grey smart skirt or shorts with a white shirt or polo shirt with collar
  • Sunhat and light raincoat
  • Sunscreen applied before school (please do not send sunscreen into school)
  • Grey, black, or white socks
  • Black or brown shoes with a low heel, NOT trainers
  • White shirt with a collar or white polo shirt with collar
  • Fleece, sweatshirt, or v neck jumper in bottle green, no hoods
  • Grey smart trousers, smart grey skirt, or smart grey pinafore dress
  • Coat
  • Grey, black, or white socks
  • Green or grey tights
  • Black or brown shoes with a low heel, NOT trainers

Legs and arms must be covered in the forest due to the presence of thorns, brambles & nettles. In very hot weather children will be instructed to wear PE kit and take part in modified forest school activities to avoid the above. In wet weather school provide waterproofs which are expected to be worn when forest school leaders deem it appropriate. In cold weather please dress your child in layers.

Long hair must be tied back, and hair bands must be plain green or black and not too large. Hair ornaments e.g hair wraps, or hair colouring should not be worn.

For health and safety reasons we do not allow children to wear jewellery in school. The exception is stud earrings which cannot be worn on the days the children have forest school, or PE. Staff are not permitted to remove the earrings so they should not be worn to school on these days.

Nail varnish should not be worn in school.
