At Layston we have a pre-school on site which many of our children attend before joining the school. We offer a ‘one stop drop’ for working parents with our wrap-around care which pre-schoolers and nursery children can also attend.
Our wrap-around care runs every morning, afternoon and throughout the school holidays and is run from our mobile classroom by Buntings. Morning sessions start from 7.15 am and After School Club runs until 6 pm. For further details visit their website buntingsnursery.co.uk
Layston Pre-School and Nursery
Layston Pre-School and Nursery provides high quality care and education in a happy and stimulating on-site environment, offering children the opportunity to learn through play and a wide range of structured activities inside and outside, guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage birth to five. They offer ratios of 1:4 and 1:6 in their Pre-School and Nursery classes. There is a strong partnership between Layston Nursery and Pre-School and the school and an excellent transition procedure.
Pre-Schoolers are welcome to join when they are two and a half.
Layston Pre-School and Nursery offer:
- Nursery sessions – 9.00 to 12.00 am
- Lunch club – 12.00 to 13.00pm
- Pre-School sessions – 12.45 to 15.15pm
- Nursery children also have the option of attending from 9am-3.15pm with wrap-around care available from Buntings after school.
